Yesterday evening I learned that my erasmus interview and school average were enough to get me into Amsterdam University, which I applied in case not getting into Freie Berlin University…
The fact that I can go to the universtiy,Amsterdam one, for which everybody was competing in the whole uni, flattered my pride, and I heard many nice stories from the previous Amsterdammers :) Still I didn’t change my mind, I want to go to Berlin! I’ve never been there and any friend who was on interrail tells a lot about the city, it is a very big city like Istanbul, that I wouldn’t be tired of, with many festivals and events, and I want to talk some German if possible! I hope I can meet many people and share my identity, my ideas, my culture with them. I am aware of the Turkish image they have in mind, may be it is a bit idealistic but at least the ones I will met should reduce their prejudices… I can pay a visit to Amsterdam for a few days when I want to, Berlin to Wien is 10 hours by train, but there are flights eh :)
Anyways, I had three lovely days at Nur, bei Nur =), and I was really euforic in the evening! I am having a nice week ;)
