New exhibition: Alberto Giacometti takes over SMK 10 February – 20 May 2024
I feel like each and every museum in Europe has to have some Giacometti inside. Again in Denmark I was not disappointed. It was an exhibition though and I have seen some of those works already before even in Istanbul :)
Apart from that SMK was a really impressive museum. The permenant collections are: Danish and Nordic Art 1750-1900, French Art 1900-1930 (Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and André Derain),European Art 1300-1800, Danish and International Art after 1900.
