Kingdom of Gods and Demons. Mesopotamia 1000-500 bce

So we were not exactly planning to visit this museum but the weather was too bad and windy and for our luck, our daughter decided to sleep long so it was our chance. As someone from Turkey, of course it is tempting to see the name “Mesopotamia“, however I have seen this all :) Still, there were some paintings which were inspired from this Babylonian culture, they were new for me. I also discovered some witty German painters from the permanent exhibition such as Lucas Cranach the Elder
Also another surprise for me was seeing “The Infanta Margarita Teresa” as I have been tracing her everywhere in the world now. From Vienna to Madrid.
