This museum was very impressing both inside and outside :) It is at Buda Castle and has a wonderful view of the city from top. If you are traveling with a stroller, be aware that there are elevators. However, understanding the logic of the elevators can be complicated. Two elevators stop at different floors and I need to mention there are some “in-between floors”, in the end we have seen everything but it was not very self-explanatory.
You can also go to dome and there are some balconies where you can see the chain bridge and make wonderful photos. It has both a nice European gallery (with a lot of familiar names) but also a nice selection of national artists.
As someone from Turkey, it was interesting to see see some paintings about the Hungarian–Ottoman Wars…
