So the last time I was in D’Orsay Museum, it was March 2014 and we were not allowed to take photos. Apparently this has changed in 2015 and taking photos was OK! I was of course thrilled! Back then I had liked the museum a lot but as I could not make any pics I felt like I forgot everything I have seen (pic or it didn’t happen). First of all, look at thi stunning golden clock! It is really giving a character to the museum. Museum itself has an interesting indoor architecture, you can never be sure if you have seen everything :)

Signac, the Collector – until February 13th, 2022

The exhibition is curated by Marina Ferretti and Charlotte Hellman who is the great-granddaughter of the painter! Signac himself was a selft-taught painter, he developed a technique called “pointilism” along with his friend Georges Seurat by studying the works of Impressionists, particularly Monet, Degas, and Cézanne. In the collection, you find pieces nelonging to Neo-Impressonism, Fauvism, Nabis.
